The SANTA MARIA CEMETERY DISTRICT proper consists of approximately 35.5 acres in the city of Santa Maria. The District is bordered by Stowell rd. on the North and Battles Rd. on the South. College Dr. borders the East side with residences and business properties on the West side.
There is an additional 44.5 acres [South Lawn] to the South, across Battles. In use is only about 5 acres. It is a relatively new section and now handles most of the services since we are running out of available plots in the cemetery proper. The South Lawn is bordered by Battles on the North side, College on the East side, Newlove on the West side and Strawberry Fields on the South side.
